CCRI offers American Red Cross Lifeguard Training courses throughout the year.
Once lifeguard candidates receive their Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate and want to work for the State of RI at a pond, lake, or beach, they must take an additional test that is administered by the State of Rhode Island. Information can be found at this link: RI State Lifeguard Certification.
